After 25 years of planning and collaboration, the City of Jamestown unveiled a new welcoming sign at the entrance on North Main Street. Spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Jamestown, the sign serves as a symbol of the city’s rich history and bright future.
Built with contributions from local organizations, foundations, and businesses—including JMI, which donated concrete, sand, and gravel—the sign reflects Jamestown’s industrial heritage and commitment to community development. The steel cabinet, columns, and structural support were provided by Industrial Welding & Fabricating, a division of JMI.
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on June 23, 2023. To read more about this event, visit https://www.post-journal.com/news/local-news/2023/06/25-year-dream-come-true/
