ArtScape is an annual public art program hosted by the Chautauqua Art Gallery and Pearl City Clay House, in partnership with the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation and the City of Jamestown Parks Department.
The goal of the ArtScape program is to create an outdoor gallery experience that enhances the downtown streetscape while showcasing the creativity and talent of local artists. Artists of all ages were invited to participate in this juried competition, and selected artwork was photographed and reproduced on large vinyl banners. In June, these banners were hung from light posts throughout Downtown Jamestown and will remain on display through the end of the year.
JMI is proud to sponsor five featured artists: Kate Caswell (Rooster), Mike Napierala (Pumpkin Seed Sunfish, Rainbow Trout), Kimberly Weber (Lattes First), Brandi Somerton (Frozen Cave) and D’Arsie Mae (Queen of Hearts Shield Necklace).
