The Jamestown Youth Golf Advocates Committee works to introduce local students to the game of golf. This organization has run the Ring Elementary School LEAP school golf program for four years and recently expanded to include the Washington Middle School jump program. The goal is to expose youth to golf, a sport that can teach important values and potentially lead to college scholarships and eventual careers. The committee expresses gratitude to sponsors, volunteers, and donors who make these programs possible.
