In the mid-September 2022, JMI employees were invited to participate in the Jamestown Area YMCA’s 34th Annual Battle of the Businesses.
Our company competed in the Small Division against teams from Matco Tools, Rand Precision Machining and Southern Tier Brewing among others.
The events for the small division included bowling, corn hole, a golf scramble, co-ed volleyball, curling and a sailing boat race. Teams also had an opportunity to try axe throwing, women’s miniature golf, blacklight pickle ball as well as a roller skating relay, scavenger hunt, Scrabble tournament and a trivia quiz.
Team JMI placed fourth overall in the Small Division with over 1100 points. Employees who participated in this annual event received a complimentary summer membership to the YMCA.
We look forward to seeing what the Jamestown Area YMCA will put together for next year’s competition!
